A Salute to Veterans

It seems like we all know someone who has served in our military. Today on Veterans Day, it is a great opportunity to recognize and thank those who are currently serving or have served our country.

Brian Lucas, President and Chief Operating Officer at Marcum Search stated, “We take great pride in offering premier talent and human resource solutions to our clients and candidates, especially to those who are veterans.” Lucas went on to say, “On this Veterans Day we take even greater pride in honoring our American Heroes and thank our veterans for their service.”

Marcum Search is proud to work with veterans to find their next opportunity in the workplace. Our Internal IT Talent team for Marcum LLP is especially excited that in the last two years we were able to place ten veterans representing every Branch of Service: Army/Army Reserves, Air Force, Navy, and Marines.  We are thankful to be able to work with them in this chapter of their lives as they further their careers.

Our own Vice President here at Marcum Search, Steve Goldmintz, shares his father-in-law’s, Martin Muckler, story. Corporal Martin Muckler, who served in the United States Army, was trained domestically at various army bases before being deployed to the European War Theatre during World War II. In wartime he was stationed in both England and France.  While in Paris he marched with The United States troops to the Arc de Triomphe at the conclusion of World War II.  About 50 years later, Steve and his father-in-law travelled back to England. Steve witnessed him silently revisiting and reflecting on his past war years.

Every veteran truly has a unique and compelling story. Today all of us at Marcum Search thank each and every veteran for their service to our great country.
