How has your career grown since starting at Marcum Search?
Marcum Search has given me a great deal of latitude as well as top resources and technology in order to be effective in my recruiting efforts. I have been able to focus on the core of my work which is connecting with talented audit and tax professionals. I’ve also appreciated the sense of unity and close collaboration amongst my team members.

In my career I am most proud of…
I am most proud of seeing individuals that I’ve identified for the firm be successful and grow.

Three words to describe myself…
Passionate, goal oriented, and direct

My perfect day is…
I’m a creature of habit and routines. I enjoy waking up early, going for a long bike ride (while listening to podcasts on the latest political issues,) rest by the pool for a bit, and spend time with my two little Chihuahuas, Hazel and Lua.

Advice for my 16 year old self…
Accept who you are and be unapologetic about it. Your potential is unlimited with just a bit of confidence.

The person who had the biggest impact on my life is…
I would say that this is a tie between my Mom and Dad. They both sacrificed everything and brought our family in a flimsy raft to the US. All for the prospect of a better life.

Number 1 on my bucket list is…
I’d like to travel to Europe and travel across the various countries on a bicycle

What is your best tip on how to stay connected while still practicing social distancing during COVID-19?
Go to the beach or a run or a bike ride or a picnic. There are a great deal of things that can be done outdoors and are relatively “safe.”
