Executive Vice President Lori Hoagland named a top 50 award winner for Talent Acquisition Professionals for the OnCon 2021 Icon Awards

New York City, NY – It is with great pride that we announce Lori Hoagland has been named a top 50 award winner for Talent Acquisition Professionals worldwide for the OnCon 2021 Icon awards.

The Talent Acquisition Professional Award is voted by colleagues in the industry and determined by peer observation of work. Winners represent top talent acquisition professionals around the world. Awards were presented virtually at OnCon on July 13, 2021.

Voters selected talent acquisition professionals that they felt demonstrated a good mix of success and positive impact on their organization and/or previous organizations, made strong contributions to the talent acquisition community through thought leadership, have been innovative, and who have exhibited great leadership. Lori has succeeded in all of these areas and this highly recognized achievement is well-deserved.

The top 150 finalists were selected from a large number of applications and nominations, and were voted on by the talent acquisition community in May of 2021. Criteria used for voting included the following: 

• Made a considerable impact on their organization and/or previous organizations.
• Made strong contributions to the talent acquisition community through thought leadership.
• Innovate in their role/career.
• Exhibit exceptional leadership.

Lori starting her career as a developer/BA/IT Group Manager at Prudential in both Life and Health Insurance, working as a Tech Writer for two major pharmaceutical companies, and even as a product designer for a small accounting software before going into recruiting. Lori came to Marcum Search over five years ago to help expand the IT division, and since then, has become the Head of our IT recruiting group and also serves as the EVP of Operations for our firm.
